08-23-2006, 4:24 PM Jerry Joined on 04-04-2006 Posts 3 Training In the training section of the IBIS site, it mentioned that it was the projects intent to set up two training sessions in August.  Will any of that be for the SME's and/or business analyst.  If not, when will be their turn for training.  As we meet every week in reviewing the COA, it will be helpful for the SME's group to understand what PeopleSoft can do or can not do.  Otherwise, we are just chasing out tails in those meetings, i.e., were going round and round with the same issues.  I think it will be more productive meetings if we all understand what the systems capabilities are.    Report

08-25-2006, 4:51 PM Kate Joined on 03-07-2006 A galaxy far, far away Posts 24 Re: Training Scheduling training has turned out to be a challenge, unfortunately.  We're trying to get enough courses in the pipeline for everyone, but for now we're prioritizing members of the project team, including business analysts.  We also have documentation on order that we want to start getting out to people. Remarkably, the time you spend now on things like the COA will pay off both during the training and later on, both.  You will have a much clearer idea of the issues and will know what to look for during training.  It'll feel frustrating, but the work we're doing now has a great deal of value. In the meantime, keep watching the site.  We're doing a lot of nailbiting here, trying to get things set up (why does this have to be so hard??) but we're getting there.    Report
