What are those colored balls under the name of the poster?
Reply Quote

The colored balls are related to "Top 10 Posts".  How, I don't know.  When the forums get to the point where we have many more than 10 posts, it will probably become clearer.

If you hover over an icon or graphic in the forums and the blogs, often you'll get a popup message near your mouse pointer.  The message gives some cryptic clues about what's going on.

Count it as 2 people who'd like to know.  Is it the number of top 10 posts?  How is a top 10 post determined?

I've been on a few forums before and I haven't seen anything like those colored balls before.
They don't seem to make any sense.
Does the top 10 posters have it? As a sort of badge? I'm confused :P.

Oh I just noticed, mine says "Top 150 posts".
What does that mean? How does a post get rated or valued? Lol, so many questions.

Id guess it would be rated by the number of replies and views a post has been looked at as there is no official rating system that I have seen.

I do not know what these color balls stand for. They pop up some text whenever we hover our mouse over it but I could not figure out the actual meaning.

Yes, I believe the mystery balls change color with the number of posts. As a Raleigh NC magician it reminds me to practice my juggling for my magic act.

The balls has the reverse value, this means you belong to the 150th.
